Ervin King,  RMT

Ervin King graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2007 as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT).  Prior to this, he practised as a registered massage therapist in Bahamas.  Ervin is a member of the Registered Massage Therapist Association of Ontario and is also a member in good standing of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.  As an RMT, Ervin has intensive training in anatomy, pathology, remedial exercise, orthopaedic assessments and hydrotherapy.  He combines his knowledge and treatment skills to promote health and well-being for his patients.  Ervin believes that massage therapy is not only an effective and non-invasive treatment for soft tissue, but it can also play an integral role in the maintenance of one’s overall well-being to relax, restore, and allow the body to heal. 

Dr. W. Scott MacKenzie, HBKin, DC, Medical Acupuncture Provider

Dr. Scott MacKenzie graduated Summa Cum Laude from McMaster University in 2008 with an Honours degree in Kinesiology. He then attended and graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 2012 Cum Laude with Clinic Honours. During his final year at CMCC, Dr. MacKenzie became certified in Medical Contemporary Acupuncture at McMaster University. Using a combination of soft tissue therapy, ultrasound therapy, chiropractic manipulation/mobilizations, neurofunctional acupuncture and rehabilitative exercises, Dr .MacKenzie formulates individualized treatment plans to address your injury and restore you to your daily activities and obtain optimal function. Dr. MacKenzie treats a variety of injuries including: sports injuries, neck pain, low back pain, motor vehicle accidents (MVA), shoulder pain, knee pain, WSIB and more.
Dr. C. Shaun Demeris, HBSc, DC 

Dr. Shaun Demeris attended the University of Western Ontario and graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree with distinction in Physiology in 1999.  Dr. Demeris then continued his education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC), graduating Magna Cum Laude with Clinic Honours in 2003.  At this time he received the following awards for academic and clinical proficiency:  Walter Sturdy Memorial Scholarship, Gilbert H. Young Memorial Award and Hoskins/Sommacal Clinic Proficiency Award.  Since this time, Dr. Demeris has furthered his education through courses offered by the continuing education division of CMCC and Epicurean Scholar. Treating a variety of conditions from full body sports injuries, through ‘everyday injuries’, to wellness care, Dr. Demeris uses manual chiropractic manipulation, mobilizations, soft tissue and muscle release therapy, interferential current, ultrasound, stretching and more when setting up an individualized treatment plan.  As Dr. Demeris feels that the patient must take an active role in his/her care, he will also suggest to patients simple home stretching and rehabilitative strengthening routines.  Dr. Demeris does accept motor vehicle accident (MVA) and WSIB cases.

Dr. Ruth Shuster,  BHSc, ND

Dr. Ruth Shuster is a licensed and registered Naturopathic Doctor.  Ruth received her undergraduate degree in Honours Health Science at the University of Western Ontario in 2004; she then continued with four years of naturopathic training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.  Ruth graduated as a Naturopathic Doctor in 2008.  Ruth has furthered her experience and education by working as a clinical assistant to an internationally renowned acupuncturist and researcher in Toronto.  Dr. Ruth Shuster has a goal of providing individualized, safe, effective and holistic naturopathic medical care to each one of her patients.  More information can be found about Dr. Ruth Shuster and Naturopathic Medicine by clicking here.

Cheryl Ross, RMT 

Cheryl successfully completed her massage therapy studies at Ontario College of Health and Technology and is fully licensed with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.She has also completed her Combined Decongestive Therapy (CDT) training with the Toronto Lymphocare Centre. CDT is an integrative approach to Lymphedema management that includes the following: manual lymphatic drainage massage, compression wrapping and/or garment, and exercise prescription. Integrated lymph drainage can be used to treat a variety of conditions such as: whiplash, repetitive strains, sports injuries, scars, sinusitis, and headaches. Cheryl has additional training in Myofascial release techniques and Orthopedic Massage.Cheryl is passionate about massage therapy and has a keen interest in helping patients achieve optimal physical function. She believes every individual is unique and plans each treatment with her patient’s specific needs and health history in mind. 
Faith Martin, RMT

Faith is accepting all new and existing patients for massage therapy starting on January 31, 2015. She will be working Wednesday and Friday evenings and alternating Saturdays.
